Feng Shui, need cure for square pillars in front of house?
Thursday
Apr 8, 2010
Hi. Please answer only if you have an answer related to Feng Shui.
I have two square pillars in front of my front door to hold a little roof up. I live in a cold city, besides plants, what else can I do to redirect this negativity?
bad chi cannot be felt, nor it cannot be sensed. it makes bad things happen. with a post directly at the middle of the door sometimes prevent a couple from bearing children, and sometimes it prevents a project from happening. unless, these things happen, then there is no reason to do something about this.
most of the time, remedies with mirrors, bagua, chimes, etc. make more harm than good. most people apply these things, because most authors mention these things. but the authors don’t mention that these things can aggraviate a situation. like the chimes can attract unwanted spirits. the bagua can kill or make people sick.
Feng shui experts: How best do I make use of gold fish?

I have a friend who is in constant poverty. She says she has always had a house with a central hallway, where you can see from front door to back. I told her this is bad feng shui and suggested she put a curtain up across either the front or back entry. Do you have any other suggestions?
Also, I would like to give her a goldfish bowl for a present. I am told that these are good to place by the front door. (My own fish tank is on the east, next to my front door.) I was wondering what is the best position for gold fish ponds/tanks. (My friend’s front door is also in the east).
We are in Australia, southern hemisphere, if that makes a difference to you.
Thanks for your help.
well i m not a feng shui expert, infact i nearly know nothing about it but i have a few ideas she could use, depending on how wide her hallway is she could use the shelve walls which are easy to install and remove…. a curtain isn’t a bad idea…
and about the gold fish in my opinion it really wouldn’t have any affect on the way the gold fish’s tank is placed… just make sure it is big enough though………
hope this helps…xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Where is there an easy Feng Shui guide?
Tuesday
Apr 6, 2010
Hi I have been trying to feng shui my bedroom and I have purchased many books and other things, but there just seems to be too many rules I cant grasp it all. I just want to know what colors/energies to put in each directions of the room. Is there a good source anyone can give me to get a laymans guide to feng shui?
If you want to make each room or corner in your house with different color, you can use the chart:

But Feng Shui specialists use one rule for colors: colors should be balanced. If you feel that you like the color and you want to have it in your room, then it is definitely good feng shui)

Feng Shui – The Rhythm of Chi
Sunday
Apr 4, 2010
Feng Shui, part of the “Reflections” musical collection, is a CD that is comprised of several “peaceful, Asian-inspired melodies for balance and harmony”. The songs upon this CD are not only earthy and warm, but possess also the profound emotional awareness that people have come to know and associate with the Middle East for as far back as anyone can remember.
The tracks found upon Feng Shui are all composed, arranged, produced and performed by The Blue Cliff Ensemble, and are copyrighted by Somerset Entertainment Ltd. The image used in this video is the cover art for the CD and was photographed by Getty Images/Jupiter Images.
The Blue Cliff Ensemble consists of these four talented musicians:
Deborah Danbrook – Flute
Steve Raiman – Piano
Brian Hughes – Guitar
Jeff Wolpert – Keyboards

Any good references for Feng Shui that is reasonably easy to understand?
Sunday
Apr 4, 2010
I would like to apply the principles of Feng Shui to my home and the flower garden. The information I am finding is very confusing. Is there an introductory book or web site that will help me understand this?
Feng Shui is not an easy subject to master. This is why there is not a book currently available that explains Feng Shui in an easy to use manner.
My best advice for you, I do not know where you live, is to see if there is a Feng Shui seminar or course offer in your area. It is much easier to learn from a "live" person rather than from a book or website. This is because you can ask questions and clarify any confusion you might have.
The other advice I have for you is to keep focus. There are many different types of Feng Shui. Right now if you do an internet search you will come across Black Hat Sect Feng Shui (a.k.a Western Feng Shui) and Compass Feng Shui.
I recommend the use of Compass Feng Shui which includes Flying Star Feng Shui and Eight Mansion Feng Shui. However, do not forget about Landform, which is the most important. Landform Feng Shui looks at the surrounding landforms your property is located. Two of the most important concepts from Landform Feng Shui are the Water Formulas and the Four Guardians.
Good luck on your journey.
